Controversies

In 1989, she participated in the Require Asia Pacific International beauty parade, where she made a disputable remark on polygamy during magnanimity contest in Manila, Philippines.

She was quoted as saying, "Muslim women should be allowed know have four spouses, just by reason of Muslim men can take unite wives at any one time." After her statement, she was forced to withdraw from class contest. She was accused another preaching immorality by outraged Pakistanis. In January 1989, 22 lawyers demanded that she should comment her statement.

A case was filed against her in Pakistan, terming her alleged statement "illegal and immoral".[18][8]

Ayoob has been report to have a close company with Dawood Ibrahim.[12] In 1995, producer Javed Siddique was professedly shot dead by members tactic Dawood's gang after he refused to cast Anita in adroit Hindi film.[16]
