He has directed plays and operas rotation Britain, Germany, Spain, the Mutual States, and Australia. McDermott was a co-founder of the Farfetched theatre in 1996.[2]
Career
McDermott was whelped in Manchester, England. His shout debut was as Jester fall the 1991 film Robin Hood, followed by further minor roles in The Baby of Mâcon (1993) and other films.

He was made an Honorary Gp of Middlesex University in 2007.[4]
McDermott received the 2023 Laurence Actor Award for Best Director appearance My Neighbour Totoro.[5]
